At Hog Roast Coleraine, we are in that brief moment of reprieve between the busy summer wedding season and the hectic festive Christmas season where things get to slow down for just a moment. Our work now swaps from weddings and summer barbecues every weekend to the more regular corporate catering gig that usually sustains us through the midweek days. With that slight slow down we figured we had time enough to look back at the summer season then and say a massive thank you to everyone that had us out and catering over the last few months.
This summer was an excellent one. From weekend to weekend, it was bac to back weddings with the biggest and best of our services put to excellent use for so many special days. As any caterer will tell you, to be involved with weddings is a total privilege. At Hog Roast Coleraine we couldn’t have been any prouder to have been involved with so many this summer; we reckon that our output was some of the best we have ever had, with such brilliant weddings coming to us in all sorts of shapes and sizes right the way through the summer season. It was a joy to be a part of.
Our summer wasn’t solely about the weddings, however. With record temperatures across the country it most certainly was a time for garden parties, beach outings, and barbecues. Clearly many of you agreed, as our gourmet barbecue came out as the most popular order of the season, making so many private parties and work events a joy to serve. Our signature hog roast is usually the winner through any catering season, but the gourmet barbecue was top of the list again and again for so many of your summer events. Another mention has to go to our southern slow roast too – clearly the record temperatures weren’t quite hot enough for some of you. An added bit of spice was still needed from our hot sauce marinades and dry rubs!
So from all at Hog Coleraine, one last thanks to everyone again who enjoyed a summer party with us – we can’t wait until next season to do it all again already!
